CDs:
If anyone is interested in any of these things I suggest you do an advanced search, completed items only, on Ebay (http://www.ebay.co.uk). You don't have to register to search and you'll get an idea what is a fair second hand price. I'm mostly interested in finding a good home for stuff, not making a profit. All the cds are genuine, not pirates, but you'll gather that if I liked them I would keep them. We all have different tastes however.
Elastica - Elastica I have a duplicate |
Future Pilot AKA Mighty Sea I should like music from an Indo-Scot - especially an ex Happy Mondays guy, but the album isn't to my taste I'm afraid |
|
Levellers - Levellers Yes, yes, yes and yes. Brilliant band. I have a duplicate, so is the only reason I am offering this. Folky punky stuff made up of people from all over the UK and it is reflected in their sound. Can't recommend them highly enough |
Love Spit Love Their later stuff I like a lot, but this reflects their separation anxiety from Pyschadelic Furs a bit too much for me (let's face it, the Furs were pretty weird at the best of times). |
|
Interstellar Overdrive - Pink Floyd and Friends Well...No. Well, maybe if you are a fan and have spent too much time stoned - or intend to spend a lot of time stoned, because if you listen to it more than once or twice you are going to end up there. Compilations are generally along the lines of 'Best Of...' I don't know what the intent here was. |
Undisputed - Sahara Not bad, exactly, but basically Birmingham Bhangra. Nothing you haven't heard at every Mela everywhere before the 17 year olds have to home to bed. |
|
Van Helsing Soundtrack - Alan Sylvestri Saw the movie, liked the music, tried hard to gt a copy of the cd, which wasn't easy, then couldn't figure out what we liked about the music when we did. |
Hit Parade 1 - Wedding Present Punkish, and I like it. These albums are a little confusing as the whole thing was supposed to be a single every month for a year = 12 tracks every 6 months (back in the days of a-sides and b-sides), hence Hit Parade 1 and 2. Thing is there is also a version which is all 12 a-sides. Okay, you may see where I am going now. And I've ended up with at least one duplicate. |
